what a change from yesterday's nearly 70F temps....tonight it's 29F, the roads are icy and frozen and I'll bet Lindsay up in Marquette is happy as hell. Down here we're freezing. The trial run of Orange Espresso ERG! Energyu bars is a success, my back is a bit better, but that toe on my left foot is acting up again.

It's Sunday, November 11th Veteran's Day. Sorry, but Veteran's Day is a joke. The only people who celebrate it are politicans, and lifers. The rest of us would just as soon forget about it...at least I would. I rumbled around the house, went for a ride over by Karlin on an interesting route whose map I couldn't follow. There's some BIG hills on the dirt roads over there. Anyway, I'm recovering from a creaky back and a short ride is what I needed. I should have been in Louisville, or at least Kalamazoo, but there ya go. So, made up a test batch of Orange Espresso ERG!. Damn I had to put a lot more espresso in there than cocoa powder in the Choco Cherry. There's gonna be a buzz-on from eatin' these bars for sure.
